Dear Colleagues,

The Optical Society’s (OSA) 2020 Hyperspectral Imaging and Sounding of the Environment (HISE) meeting will take place on 19 – 23 July 2021 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The meeting brings together researchers and industry leaders in the field of hyperspectral remote sensing of terrestrial, coastal, oceanic, and atmospheric phenomena and industrial processes. We solicit presentations on recent advances in all aspects of active and passive hyperspectral remote sensing, including, but not limited to, instrumentation, image processing, information extraction through artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques, radiative transfer modeling, atmospheric correction, algorithm development, data product retrieval, disaster response, and environmental monitoring.

The meeting will be held in a hybrid format, consisting of virtual and in-person (contingent on local rules and travel restrictions during the meeting dates) presentations. The inability to travel will not be a hindrance to participating and presenting at the meeting.

Un appel à contribution est lancé pour un numéro spécial “Radiation modeling and Remote Sensing” dans la revue IEEE Journal of Selected Topics in Applied Earth Observations and Remote Sensing.

Ce numéro spécial vise à proposer un état de l’art dans le développement et l’utilisation de simulations basées sur la modélisation du transfert radiatif pour des applications en télédétection. Il vise aussi à mettre en avant le rôle de la simulation de données dans la recherche et le développement de nouvelles applications dans le domaine de la télédétection. Enfin, ce numéro aidera à mettre en évidence les besoins les plus importants dans le domaine. Les auteurs sont invités à documenter et partager les détails et développements associes à leur publication.

Les sujets incluent l’instrumentation, la calibration, la fusion de données, le demélange spectral, la classification et la validation  pour tous les domaines d’application : littoral et environnement profond.

Chercheurs et industriels, doctorants et post-doctorants sont invités à présenter leurs travaux de recherche et à discuter des perspectives de développement pour les applications marines.

un CDD de 1 an renouvelable est propose dans le cadre du projet HYPCOLAC.

Le projet HYPCOLAC (Centre National d’Etudes Spatiales-CNES) a pour objectif l’évaluation des apports d’un capteur satellitaire hyperspectral pour cartographier la composition de l’eau, la bathymétrie et la composition des fonds aquatiques à partir d’images simulées sur les zones d’eaux continentales et littorales.
