Comme les années précédentes, les dossiers doivent être déposés en ligne sur le formulaire informatique mis en place par l’INSU. Les textes des AO pour chaque programme sont disponibles sur ce site et sur celui de l’INSU (http://www.insu.cnrs.fr/node/5899).

La date de clôture pour les projets du PNTS, de LEFE et de EC2CO est fixée au 13 septembre 2016 – 9h, sauf pour les programmes Astronomie/Astrophysique et Terre Solide dont la deadline est le 22 septembre 2016 – 17h.

PostDoc (m/f) in image processing

The position will be available from 1 October 2016. The employment contract is limited to two years. The regular weekly working time will be 39 hours. The salary is based on the collective agreement TVöD-Bund. The place of work is Freiberg.

Requirements:

  • very good PhD in quantitative Earth-Sciences, Computer Vision or similar
  • in-depth knowledge of remote sensing data analysis and image processing
  • experience in processing of hyperspectral data
  • competence in scientific programming (e.g. Python, MATLAB, R)

Tasks:

  • methodological development of multiscale image processing for geological purposes
  • active input/contribution to the division activities on analysis of digital elevation models and spectroscopy
  • close cooperation with the division “Valuation and Modelling”
  • publication and presentation of scientific results
  • acquisition of third-party projects

10th EARSeL Workshop on Imaging Spectroscopy

Dear Colleague,

The 10th Workshop of the EARSeL Special Interest Group on Imaging Spectroscopy (EARSeL SIG-IS) will take place between 19-21 April 2017 in Zurich, Switzerland. The workshop will be hosted by the Remote Sensing Laboratories (RSL) at the University of Zurich in collaboration with EARSeL.

With this 10th workshop, the EARSeL SIG-IS series celebrates its 20th birthday.

The Scientific Committee and the Organizing Committee are looking forward to your contribution!
